NCGA Points and Senior Points event at the wonderful Metropolitan Golf Links in Oakland. Entry fee includes two rounds of golf, generous prize fund. (carts not included at this very walkable course) Morning starting times will be utilized both days. Field limited to 112 players.

The Metropolitan Amateur tournament was founded in 2003, coinciding with the grand opening of the Metropolitan Golf Links, on the site of the old Lew Galbraith Golf Course.
Mark Hill won the Inaugural event in 2003, with a course record setting round of 66 in the final round providing a 7 shot cushion. (Hill's record has since been broken) The strong field encouraged the NCGA to increase the points value for the event to the 75 point level.
