Goat Hill Park is an 18-hole short course in
Oceanside, California. It was recently featured
on the Golf Channel as one of the best short
courses in the U.S. Originally built in 1952 as a
regulation length 9 hole par 36 layout, Center
City Golf Course was the first golf course in San
Diego county. The course was redesigned in the
early 90‘s by Ludwig Keehn into an 18 hole short
course and became known as "Goat Hill" to
locals. Located conveniently off the I-5 highway,
Goat Hill Park is loved for its ocean views, fresh
breeze, authentic atmosphere, and raw golf feel.
A major revitalization effort is being put into the
course by new leaseholders (2014) John
Ashworth, David Emerick, and Geoff
Cunningham. Come out for a round to see the
progress they are making.
