NY MET Pub-Links: Larkin leads
DANBURY, CONN. (July 11, 2013) - Adam Larkin of Bethpage holds the lead midway through the 66th MGA/MetLife Public Links Championship after an impressive 3-under 69 at Richter Park Golf Course.
Larkin, who's entering his senior year at Farmindgale State, went out with a 4-under 32, but recorded his only bogey of the round on his final hole.
Jacob Henny of Oak Hills is one off the pace after a 2-under 70. Henny recently qualified for the U.S. Junior Amateur, which will be played in two weeks out in California.
Jack Maerki of MGA eClub - L.I. and Ryan Gabel of Casperkill both fired rounds of even-par 72 to tie for third.

male Amateur golfers who reside in the
Metropolitan Golf Association’s District,
have a
current USGA Handicap Index of 8.0 or less
and do not have playing privileges at a
course
at which the general public is excluded.
Exceptions: A public course player may hold
incidental privileges at a course which the
general public is excluded when such
privileges
are provided by (1) an educational
institution
at which he is a student, or (2) a Federal
armed service of which he is a member or
retired member, or (3) an industry by which
he
is employed.
