De Los Reyes runs away with Antioch City
ANTIOCH, Calif. (Aug. 25, 2013) — St. Mary's College junior Jonathan De Los Reyes followed up his Saturday 67 with a Sunday 64, going wire-to-wire at the Antioch City Amateur Championship.
De Los Reyes, who is a native of Antioch, tore up Lone Tree Golf Course over the weekend, fending off a hoard of talented northern California amateurs.
Mitchell Martin, who was tied with De Los Reyes after Saturday's first round, shot 68 to take solo second place.
De Los Reyes' new teammate Cody Robinson came in third place, going 69-68. Robinson transferred to St. Mary's after three years at Washington State University.
