Walsworth, Leondard atop at KC Masters
Wolf Creek Golf Club — The KC Masters features the top twenty-two Open division players and the top eleven seniors in Kansas City based on the Bushnell Player Points List. The coveted invitational event is being played for the first time at the historic Wolf Creek Golf Club.

With only one eighteen hole round left in the KCGA season, Don Walsworth and Tom Leonard look to add one more title to their storied resumes. In the Open division, Walsworth fired a one under 71 and employed book end birdies on the difficult 10th and 18th holes to eclipse Mark Terranova and Doug Albers by one stroke.

In the Senior division, Tom Leonard continues his stellar season also firing a one under 71. He played the entire front nine without posting a score hire than a four. He followed that with solid play on the back nine and posted 35-36 for 71. That is good enough to finish one stroke clear of Greg Loteckie who posted nines of 39 and 34 to shoot a first round 73.
