Horsfield wins Orlando City Am
ORLANDO, Fla. (Nov. 18, 2013) -- It wasn't as flawless as the entry, but Sam Horsfield will take the departure.
After all, it comes with yet another championship trophy.
Horsfield followed a sizzling first-round 60 with rounds of 69-74 to win by five shots at the 29th annual Orlando City Amateur at Dubsdread Golf Course.
Horsfield, a highly-ranked junior and the reigning Florida State Amateur winner, was five better than Derek Camps, who surged with a finalround 70.
Trent Collings was third.
Horsfield made waves this past summer, reaching the quarterfinals of the U.S. Junior Championship.
