Junior Invitational: Scheffler takes Sage Valley lead

GRANITEVILLE, S.C. (April 25, 2014) -- Reigning U.S. Junior champion Scottie Scheffler shot a second-round 69 to take the lead at the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley.
Scheffler was two shots back after Round 1 but surged in the second day of action at the nation's top junior tournament.
First-round leader Theo Humphrey carded a Friday 72 and he sits alone in second place.
Oklahoma commit Brad Dalke is solo third following rounds of 70-73.
The Junior Invitational at Sage Valley's mission is to operate the most prestigious junior golf championship in the world -- an invitation-only annual event for the top 54 players from around the globe, hosted by the renowned Sage Valley Golf Club.
