ACC: Schniederjans leads big day for Georgia Tech

NEW LONDON, N.C. (April 26, 2014) -- Do you hear that buzz? It's the Yellow Jackets of Georgia Tech, rolling at the ACC Men's Golf Championship.
Ollie Schniederjans fired a 2-under 70 and remains atop the individual title race. His second under-par effort also led Georgia Tech to a two-shot lead after two rounds.
The Yellow Jackets received terrific rounds from all five players Saturday at Old North State Club. Seth Reeves and Anders Albertson went low, shooting 69 and 68, respectively, while Bo Andrews (72) and Ricky Werenski (71) also played well.
Florida State, led by the play of Hank Lebioda, is in second place. Lebioda shot a second-roud 71 and is third individually.
Cody Proveaux's 71-70 start has Clemson in third place -- four back of Georgia Tech.
The third and final round of the 2014 ACC Men’s Golf Championship is scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m. Sunday.
