Alameda Commuters Sr: Boyns outlasts Vanier

ALAMEDA, Calif. (May 5, 2014) -- Casey Boyns shot a final-round 72 to edge Gary Vanier at the 2014 Alameda Commuters Senior.
Both players shot 68 in Saturday's first round and battled throughout the finale on Sunday. Boys was able to edge out the defending champion for the 2014 crown.
Jeff Burda shot a second straight 71 and took solo third while Randy Haag and Jim Knoll tied for fourth, finishing 1-over for the event and three back of Boyns.
