Wisconsin Two-Man: Weber, Dirks win by three
WEST BEND, Wisc. (Sept. 22, 2014) — Entering the final round of the Wisconsin Two-Man Championship, Joe Weber and Josh Dirks were one-over par and trailed by a shot. But the final-round, which was played in a scramble format, the two shot nine-under 63 to run away with a three-shot win.
The lowest round of the third day went to Aaron Gavin and Logan Kranz, who shot 61. Gavin is coming off a win last week at the Wisconsin Mid-Amateur.

Wisconsin Two-Man
The WSGA 2-Man Team Championship is one of the
WSGA's newest state championships. This two-man
team event is played over three rounds, with each
round using a different format. The first round is
played under the four-ball (bestball) format, the
second round is foursomes (alternate shot), and the
third round is a scramble, thereby yielding a 54-hole
team score. Team members need not be from the
same club. All competition will be played at scratch -
no handicaps. To be eligible, team members must
have a combined WSGA Handicap Index of 12.0 or
less (19.9 for seniors).
