Northern Arizona Amateur: Trio of players shoot first-round 65
PRESCOTT, Ariz. (Oct. 11, 2014) — Scoring was remarkably low in the first round of the Northern Arizona Amateur on Saturday as 33 players broke par at Antelope Hills Golf Course.
Three players posted seven-under par 65 on the first day to lead the rest of the field by one shot.
Former Colorado School of Mines golfer Cory Bacon (pictured), Grand Canyon Unversity freshman Colton Estevez, and former Oregon State golfer Travis Milleman all put 65's up on the board, among a slew of other impressive scores.
Barry Enright and R.J. Wood are one back with 66 while four others are two back at 67.
Enright is a major league baseball pitcher who is currently in the Los Angeles Dodgers organization.
