Travis Milleman edges low-scoring field at Northern Arizona Amateur
PRESCOTT, Ariz. (Oct. 12, 2014) — Travis Milleman, one of three players to open the Northern Arizona Amateur with a seven-under par 65 and share the lead after Saturday, came away with a one-shot win at Antelope Hills Golf Course.
The former Oregon State golfer shot 71 on the last day and edged a low-scoring field. Two players tied for second at 137, including R.J. Wood and Ben Harden.
Cory Bacon and Colton Estevez, who also shot 65 on the first day, did not compete on Sunday as they shot 75 and 77 respectively to fall far out of contention.
Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Barry Enright tied for fifth place, shooting 66-73.
