ORLANDO, Fla. (Oct. 21, 2014) — Despite trailing second-round leaders Vanderbilt, Florida State posted 13-under in Tuesday's final round to overtake the Commodores and win the 2014 Tavistock Collegiate Invitational at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club in Orlando, Fla.

The team was comprised of sophomores and juniors, including sophomore Jack Maguire and junior Rowin Caron, who tied for third individually.

"Last year at this tournament, we played three freshmen and two sophomores, and that was a big stage for them," Seminole coach Trey Jones told Golfweek. "Now, you turn around and you have three sophomores and two juniors, and it's a different group now. They know they belong, they know they're here to win. They've matured and they keep getting better."

Junior Hank Lebioda paced the winning team in the final round with his five-under 67. At 207, the Winter Springs, Fla. native tied for fifth place.

Vanderbilt senior Hunter Stewart captured the individual title at 203, shooting 65, 72, and 66 while his teammate Carson Jacobs took second overall at 204. Jacobs led individually after two rounds at 68-65.

Co-host Texas Tech finished in third after leading by three after the first round. Their 54-hole total of 838 beat No. 1 ranked Illinois by three. Swedish sophomore Hannes Ronneblad tied for third to lead the Red Raiders.
