Aaron Wise ahead at Patriot All-America

LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. (Dec. 30, 2014) — University of Oregon freshman Aaron Wise shot 67 on Tuesday at Wigwam to take a two-shot lead into Wednesday's final round at the Patriot All-America, overtaking first-round co-leaders Kolton Crawford (Arkansas) and Damon Salo (Johnson & Wales).
Wise, who hails from Lake Elsinore, Calif., has rounds of 70 and 67 up on the board at the Gold Course at Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park. Wise's 67 on Tuesday could have been better made double bogey on 17 followed by a bogey on 18.
Jimmy Beck of Kennesaw State and Thomas Lim, a teammate of Wise's, are tied for second place at 139, while Crawford, a Texas native, fell out of first place into fourth place after a second-round 72.
Salo, of New Ipswich, N.H., struggled to a 76 and is in a tie for 12th.
The final round concludes tomorrow.

Each player honors our military by carrying a bag
with
the name, rank and service of a fallen or severely
wounded soldier embroidered on the pocket.
Following
the championship, the bags go to the players’ school
for auction, with proceeds benefiting the Folds of
Honor.
