Georgia is five shots clear at Puerto Rico Classic

RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico — Juniors Lee McCoy and Sepp Straka are tied for first place for the individual title, helping lead their Georgia Bulldogs to a five-shot lead over Georgia Tech entering Tuesday's final round in Puerto Rico.

The Puerto Rico Classic, hosted by Purdue University, features 15 teams and is typically one of the best collegiate fields of the year.

Miller Capps of Clemson is also tied for first place, along with McCoy and Straka, at five-under 139. The trio of players are a shot clear of four other players tied for fourth place, including Robby Shelton and Dru Love of Alabama, Grayson Sigg of Georgia, and Billy Kennerly of Clemson.

Second-place Georgia Tech have been paced through two rounds by Ollie Schniederjans and Jacob Joiner, who at two-under 142 are tied for ninth place.
