Pat Tallent, Roc Irey go low on final day to win Tutwiler Four-Ball

PALM CITY, Fla. — Pat Tallent and Roc Irey shot the lowest round of the tournament, a 64, on Wednesday to close out a six-shot win at the Society of Seniors Ed Tutwiler Four-Ball.
The duo led by a stroke entering the final round after rounds of 68 and 70 before going low to greatly widen their lead. Tallent, of Virginia, is the reigning U.S. Senior Amateur champion while Irey, of Pennsylvania, is a two-time William Hyndham Memorial winner.
Tying for second place at 208 were Jim Rollefson and Richard Pfeil, as well as Rocky Costa and Robbie Dew. Rollefson and Pfeil shot 68 on Wednesday after opening with back-to-back 70s to jump into the runner-up position.
In the Super Senior division, Jim Smith and Mike Sanger found themselves in a three-way playoff after shooting a final-round 64. They defeated Van Lefferdink and Steve Earsley, and David Brookreson and Rick Ten Broeck, who settled for runner-up finishes.
