CHARLESTON, S.C. — Todd White and Andre Tourinho are locked up at 12-under heading into the final round of the Azalea Invitational. The pair are three shots ahead of the rest of the field as the tournament concludes Sunday at The Country Club of Charleston.

White, the first and second round leader from Spartanburg, S.C., shot 69 on day three while Tourinho, Brazil's top-ranked amateur player, carded 68 to join White at 201.

White, 47, is a 13-time USGA participant, including two appearances in 2014. He reached the round of 64 at the U.S. Amateur and lost to eventual runner-up Brad Nurski in the quarterfinals of the U.S. Mid-Amateur. Scott Harvey, the man who defeated Nurski in the final, shot 68 on Thursday and is tied for eighth along with 2015 Jones Cup winner Austin Connelly and six other players.

Tourinho has two top-three finishes in 2015 already, finishing runner-up to 2014 U.S. Mid-Amateur champion Scott Harvey at the South American Amateur and placing third at the Latin America Amateur.

White kicked off the tournament with a 65 on Thursday, shooting 67 in round two. Tourinho bookended a 65 on Friday with 68s on Thursday and Saturday.

After 44 players broke par on day one, just 28 remain after 54 holes as the Seth Raynor design has toughened up as the tournament has progressed. The 54-hole cut left just 63 players at six-over par and under.

Bryson Nimmer of Bluffton, S.C., a commit to Clemson University for the 2015-2016 season, is alone in third place at 9-under after a 69 on Saturday. He opened with 67 and 68 in the first two rounds.

The biggest move of the day was made by California State-San Marcos junior Dylan Healey, who carded 65 on moving day to jump from even par up to six under in seventh place. His round featured two eagles, both on par fives on each nine.
