Jorge Garcia fires 64 to lead at Terra Cotta
Jorge Garcia
NAPLES, Fla. — Two University of Florida commits for the 2015-2016 season are pacing the field at Naples National Golf Club, with Venezuelan Jorge Garcia posting 64 on day one of the Terra Cotta Invitational to lead Sam Horsfield of England by two.
Garcia went bogey-free on Friday to edge his future teammate by a couple strokes. The No. 11-ranked junior in the world had a hot front nine (30) including four birdies in a row from holes 2 to 5. Horsfield, this year's New Year's Invitational winner, made just as many birdies as Garcia (8) but squeezed in two bogeys to post 66.

Defending champion Davis Riley, an Alabama commit, shot two-under par and is tied for eighth. This 54-hole championship concludes Sunday.
