Shaw, Robson lead early at South of England Amateur

TADWORTH, England — Cameron Shaw and Thomas Robson share the first-round lead at four-under par 68 at the South of England Amateur Championship, being played in 2015 at Walton Heath Golf Club.
Shaw, a junior at Cal-Berkeley, had a four-under 31 on the front that included a string of three straight birdies. Robson, a mid-amateur player, bogeyed 15 before birdieing his final three holes.
Trailing just one back is Michael Saunders of England and two back is USA's Henry Todd, a golfer from Texas Tech.
This 72-hole event will conclude Wednesday with the final 36 holes taking place in one day.
