Sherborne fires 65 to share lead with Kohler at N.H Mid-Amateur

GOFFSTOWN, N.H. – David Sherborne poured in seven birdies on Wednesday to shoot a second round 65 at the New Hampshire Mid-Amateur Championship presented by Country Club Enterprises.
Sherborne’s round is the best by any player at Stonebridge since three players shot 65 during the 2013 New Hampshire Open.
Sherborne will be joined in the final pairing with co-leader Ryan Kohler who followed Tuesday’s 71 with another 1-under round, and 2008 Champion Jim Cilley. Cilley is 3 shots back after shooting a 73 on Wednesday.
Defending Champion Brett Wilson shot a 74 to match his round on Tuesday and is six shots back. Wilson was a wire-to-wire victor in 2014 at Lochmere Golf & Country Club.
Twenty-Eight players made the cut after Wednesday’s second round and will play the final 18-holes on Thursday morning.
