Chris Bragg wins Northern Arizona Amateur
PRESCOTT, Ariz. — Chris Bragg used a bogey-free, first-round 64 at Antelope Hills to secure a four-stroke victory over Blaine Staggs at the Northern Arizona Amateur Championship.
Beginning his first round on the back nine, Bragg birdied the 10th hole, eagled the 12th, and moved onto the front nine where he made four straight birdies from holes 1 to 4. The end results was an opening-round 64, which led the field by a stroke.
Staggs had 65 on Saturday, but mid-round bogeys on Sunday dropped him back as a final-round 72 gave him second place.
