Three amateurs tied for 22nd at Australian Open

ROSEBERY, Australia — Amateurs Bryson DeChambeau, Jordan Niebrugge, and Chun-An Yu are at 3-over par through 54 holes at the Australian Open, and are in a tie for 22nd place.
DeChambeau, who tied for second last week at the Australian Masters, entered the weekend tied for 14th place but posted 74 on Saturday to drop a few places back. Meanwhile, Oklahoma State senior Jordan Niebrugge, who opened with 77, shot his second straight under par round to continue his climb up the leaderboard.
Chun-An Yun, of Taiwan, posted 72 to rebound nicely from 76 on Friday.
Ryan Ruffels of Australia rounded out the amateurs to make the cut, and at 6-over par, Ruffels is tied for 48th place with a round remaining.
