Division I Women's Golf Championship field set

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (April 26, 2016) - The field for the
2016 NCAA Division I Women's
Championship has been set. The preliminary rounds
will be played from May 5-7 with the National
Championship to be played from May 20-25 at
Eugene County Club in Eugene, OR.
73 teams and and 24 individual players will
compete in
the regional round. Following the completion of regional
play six teams and three individuals will advance to
Eugene and have a chance at a national championship.
Last
year Stanford won the team title and
Alabama's
Emma Talley won
medalist honors. Talley, a senior, will be back this year
looking to defend her title.
