Team of Lane, Roberts win Kansas Mid-Am Team in playoff
LAWRENCE, KS (May 3, 2016) - It took three extra holes but in the end the team of Bradley Lane and Conrad Roberts were able to capture the Kansas Mid-Amateur team title at Lawrence Country Club. When regulation concluded three teams were tied at 2-over and extra holes were in order.
Joining Lane and Roberts in the playoff were the pairings of Jack Courington and Spencer Christian; Tyler Cummins and William Gantz.
On the first hole of the sudden death playoff all three teams birdied and on the second they all parred. However, on the third playoff hole Lane and Roberts were able to close the door with a clinching birdie.
The winning duo put together rounds of 69-74-69 on their way to winning the title. Over the course of 54-holes the pair carded seven birdies.
Pete Krsnich and Tyler Chapman were fourth at 3-over while Kit Grove and Jason Seeman rounded out the top-five shooting a 54-hole score of 5-over.

teams.
54 holes of team stroke play contested over two
days. 36 holes on day one, 18 holes on day two.
Different format each round. There is no cut.
Daily Formats:
Round One - Shamble
Round Two - Foursomes
Round Three - Four-Ball
Must be a member of the Kansas Golf
Association.
