Bryan Koslosky wins Washington D.C. Metro Mid-Am
LAYTONVILLE, MD (May 31, 2016) -- After a long grueling day of golf Bryan Koslosky, 3-under, has won the Washington D. C. Metro Mid-Amateur championship. Kolosky, from Crofton, MD fired rounds of 71-68--139 to finish three clear of the field in the 36-hole one day event at Blue Mash Golf Course.
Kolosky was one shot off the lead following his even-par opening 18-holes. However, during the afternoon Kolosky shot the round of the day with a 3-under 68.
Tom Wharton finished even-par and in second place while Jeff Lim-Sharpe was third at 1-over. Mike Stackus at 2-over was fourth, two-strokes in front of fifth place finishers Zeric Hulvey and Sam Weaver. Both players tallied 4-over 36-hole scores.
