Two pace Florida Women's Stroke Play field after Second Round

PALM COAST, FL (July 9, 2016) -- Anastasia Carter and Kaeli Jones both sit at 4-under and share the lead after two rounds of play at the Florida Women's Stroke Play. Nicole Autrique, 3-under, is the only other player at The Conservatory at Hammock Beach Course under-par.

Anastasia Carter who recently finished her playing career at Southern Indiana has put together rounds of 72-68 thus far. Carter, even-par, heading into Saturday play birdied five holes and bogeyed just one, the final hole.

Jones has been under-par in each of her first two rounds with scores of 71-69. On Saturday, the rising South Alabama junior, birdied seven holes and bogeyed four.

Autrique, an AAC All-Conference performer for South Florida, has wroked her way to the top of the leaderboard thanks to rounds of 73-68.

Taylor Roberts, even-par, is in fourth while Jenny Kim and Alyssa Lamoureux share fifth at 1-over.

Championship Format
• 54 holes of individual stroke play
• 84 total players
• The overall Champion will be the individual with the lowest 54 hole aggregate score

Eligibility
• Female amateur golfer
• Florida residency required
• A valid USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 18.4
• Entrant is not required to be a member of the FSGA
