Scott Turner claims the Palm Beach Stroke Play title

NORTH PALM BEACH, FL (August 20, 2016) -- With rounds of 67-72 to finish 5-under Scott Turner has claimed the Palm Beach Stroke Play title at Lost Tree Club. Turner finished three-stroke in front of second place finisher Ryan Crowley, the only other player in red figures.

Turner fired a bogey-free 5-under 67 to start the weekend. The round included five birdies, three coming during a three hole stretch from Nos. 13-5.

On Saturday Turner posted an even-par round with three birdies and three bogeys. Turner finished his week with a birdie on the 18th hole.

Ryan Crowley began the day in second place two-strokes behind Turner after a first round 3-under 67. Crowley was all over the board in round one with an eagle, five birdies and four bogeys. The eagle came on the par-5 13th.

In the second round Crowley never really got things going as he shot a 1-over 73 to finish 2-under.

Robbie Wight was even-par in third, Ryan Howison was fourth at 2-over while three others tied for fifth.
