South Carolina Mid-Am Four-Ball: Two teams tied at top
The teams of Joe Hendrick (Chesterfield) & Daran Womack (Aiken) along with Chris Mitchell (Prosperity) & Matt Laydon (Charleston) are tied for the lead after both shooting seven under par 63 at the SCGA Mid-Amateur Four Ball Championship being held at Camden Country Club in Camden, SC.
Starting a little slow, the Hendrick and Womack team came to life making birdies on seven of their last thirteen holes. Mitchell and Laydon started the day with a birdie and finished with three straight birdies coming in. The two teams hold a two shot advantage over four others heading into the final round of the Championship.
The final round will begin at 7.30 a.m. Sunday morning with the leaders teeing off at 12.40 p.m. For detailed scoring and final round pairings – 22nd Mid Am Four Ball Championship.
The 2016 SCGA Mid-Amateur Four Ball Championship is being played at the par 70 – 6,310 yard Camden Country Club. The field consists of 64 two-man teams playing Best Ball format conducted over thirty six holes. The Mid-Amateur Four Ball Championship is in its 22nd year of existence.

event with participants over the age of 30 partnering
up with a teammate and playing a 36 hole Four Ball
event. The Mid Am Four Ball has historically been a
