Sam Till opens two-stroke 36-hole Ralph Bogart Tournament lead

FORT MEYERS, FL (December 6, 2016) -- Sam Till was able to shake free of a three-way tie for the lead at the start of the day to take the 36-hole Ralph Bogart Tournament advantage. Till has combined rounds of 72-71 to post 143 with the final round on tap for tomorrow at Crown Colony Golf & Country Club.
Till will be looking for his second ranking win of the year after emerging victorious at the Gateway Senior Invitational. Till also tied for second at the Old Corkscrew Senior.
Jack Kearney (72-73--145) started the day as a member of the three-way lead but fell into a second place tie with Owen Joyner (73-72--145). Mike Arnold (74-72--146), the winner over the weekend at the Golfweek Senior Tour Championship is fourth while first round co-leader David Steingart (72-75--147) sits in fifth.
SUPER SENIOR DIVISION
In the Super Senior Division we find new names atop the leaderboard as Jim Rollefson (72-76--148) and John Cuomo (75-73--146) share the lead. With the standings tight, two more players --Evan Long (74-76--149) and Rick Bauch (75-74--149)-- are tied for third.
Just one-stroke further back in a fifth place tie are John Armstrong (75-75--150) and John McCreary (74-76--150).
In all 10 players will begin the final round within three shots of the lead.
GRAND MASTERS DIVISION
Charles Busbee (75-77--152) extended his lead to three shots heading in Wednesday's final round. Jim Wetzel (78-77--155) is second while Harry Cain (77-79--156); Jerry Jackson (79-77--156) are locked in third.
