Jack Kearney wins Ralph Bogart Tournament on fifth extra hole

FORT MEYERS, FL (December 7, 2016) -- It took five playoff holes but in the end Jack Kearney was able to claim one of the more memorable Ralph Bogart Tournament's over Sam Till. The victory at Crown Colony Golf & Country Club was the second Major of AmateurGolf.com victory of the season for Kearney, who won the Hornblower Senior in August.
Kearney (72-73-73--218) and Till (72-71-75--218) finished regulation tied after Kearney overcame a two-stroke deficit at the start of the final day.
Mike Arnold (74-72-74-220) and Owen Joyner (73-72-75--220) shared third place and two shots out of the playoff while Richard Pfeil (76-73-74--223) and (74-74-75--223) were fifth.
SUPER SENIOR DIVISION
If you can believe it the Super Senior Division went to five playoff holes as well and it was Rick Bauch (75-74-72--221) who was the survivor. Bauch outlasted two others, Robert Hess (73-78-70--221) and Ron Carter (75-75-71--221) who finished tied for second.
Jim Rollefson (72-76-74--222) and Tom Elfers (78-73-71--222) shared fourth.
GRAND MASTERS DIVISION
Charles Busbee (75-77-75--227) went wire-to-wire to claim the Grand Masters Division. Runner-up Jim Wetzel (78-77-75--230) and Jim DuBois (82-76-74--232) rounded out the top-3.
