(January 9, 2017) -- Missouri's Hayden Buckley called his victory at the New Year’s Invitational the "first big win of my career." When the weather took a turn for the worst over the weekend Buckley responded overcoming a four-stroke deficit after two rounds.

Down under Charlie Dann picked up a big win when he captured the Australian Master of the Amateurs in a playoff.

The Harder Hall was contested over the weekend and it was TCU's Emmy Martin winning in wire-to-wire fashion. Martin shared the lead after each of the first two rounds before pulling away a bit over the course of the final 36 holes.

Stephen Sharpe began his year in a big way with a win at the Old Corkscrew Senior.

At the Philippine Amateur Open Sadom Kaewkanjana was the only player to finish under-par and he took home the title.

Jesse Yap is quickly becoming one of the players to watch during the upcoming spring season. Yap, a junior at Cal Poly, won the Nipomo Amateur on Sunday after winning the World Stars of Amateur Golf Championship the week before.
