Renwick was tied for the lead after the first round before taking the lead for good during Saturday's second round.

Alessandro Noseda (67-68-70--205) finished second, John Driscoll (69-69-69--207) placed third while Walter Egloff (67-71-71--209) and Tyler Carlson (72-67-70--209) shared fourth.

In the First Flight Jim Keeley emerged by six-strokes, Mitch Carter was a two-stroke winner in the Second Flight, Wilson Edwards held on to win the Third Flight by a stroke, the Fourth Flight went to David Perkins by a shot as well while Donnie Thomas won the Fifth Flight in a playoff over Travis Wilkerson.

ROUND TWO RECAP

Easton Renwick shot his second consecutive 67 and with a 134 total he holds a slim one shot lead at the Florida Azalea Amateur.

Renwick was apart of a three-way first round lead at Palatka Golf Club before breaking free to lead alone heading into the final round.

First round co-leader Alessandro Noseda (67-68--135) is in second place while four others are tied for third with 138 tallies. The group three back includes first round co-leader Walter Egloff (67-71), Thomas Allkins (72-66), Bryan Wiyang Teoh (72-66) and John Driscoll (69-69).

In the First Flight Jim Keeley leads the way, George Heider sets the pace in the Second Flight, Keith Pagett is out in front in Flight Three, Daniel Picard leads the Fourth Flight while in the Fifth Flight Jack Stokes holds the 36-hole advantage.

ROUND ONE RECAP

After opening with first round 67's Walter Egloff, Alessandro Noseda and Easton Renwick are the co-leaders of the Florida Azalea Amateur at Palatka Golf Club.

The trio will carry a two-stroke lead into Saturday's middle round of the weekend. Tied for fourth following 69's are John Driscoll and Clancy Waugh while four others posted 70's to share sixth.

In the First Flight three players share the lead as well. The group is comprised of Alan Hampton, Jim Keeley and Wendell Scheffield. The Second Flight is being paced by Randy Werkheiser, Keith Pagett and Tappy Rosson are leading the Third Flight, David Perkins is out in front in the Fourth Flight while Jack Stokes leads the Fifth Flight.
