BYU's Fishburn fires 8-under 64, leads Utah Open by Seven

PROVO, UT (August 26, 20170 - One day after taking the lead at the Utah Open with a first round 9-under 63 BYU senior Patrick Fishburn was spectacular once again as he fired an 8-under 64 to reach 17-under.
Fishburn, the leader by seven with one round remaining at Riverside Golf Course, played a bogey-free round of golf on Saturday with six birdies and an eagle. Coming off his 11 birdie first round Fishburn has now birdied 17-times in just 36-holes of play.

Following a par on the opening hole Fishburn jump started his round with a hole out for an an eagle two on the 2nd hole. The winner of last years Pacific Amateur, Fishburn kept forging ahead with birdies on Nos. 4 and 7 before rolling in three in a row on Nos. 13-15 and then adding one more for good measure on the 17th.
A trio of professional's that includes Zahkai Brown, Edward Olson and Luke Vivolo are all tied for second at 10-under while five others are sharing fifth at 9-under.
PGA Tour member Zac Blair, whose best finish came in the form of a T8 at the Shell Houston Open, is in 10th place at 8-under,
