SEDONA, AZ (October 8, 2017) - Chad Wilcox used rounds of 69-67 to finish 8-under and win the Northern Arizona Amateur at OakCreek Country Club.
The former Wake Forest golfer got off to a quick start on Saturday with birdies on Nos. 1 and 2 to move to 5-under and then he proceeded to go low with additional birdies on the 6th, 7th and 8th holes to reach 8-under.
Wilcox got as low as 9-under with a birdie on the 11th before dropping a pair of shots with a double-bogey on the ensuing hole. However, that would be the only blemish of the day for Wilcox as he closed with five pars and a birdie on the 15th.

Trevor Lampson finished second at 5-under, Jeff New at 4-under took third, Michael Lunt was fourth at 3-under while in fifth it was Tom Sweigart at 2-under.
