Roman Aragon wins Napa City Amateur by Two Strokes

NAPA, CA (November 5, 2017) - With rounds of 70-74 Roman Aragon finished with a 36-hole total of 144 and won the Napa City Amateur by two shots over Kris Tate-Thomas (69-77--146) and Glenn Andrade (73-73--146) at the Napa Municipal Golf Course.
Aragon is a senior at St. Mary's College and is from Mission Viejo. He won the Costa Mesa City Championship this summer, finished T10 at the Southern California Amateur, and most recently finished T15 at the California State Fair Amateur. He qualified for the U.S. Amateur in two of the last three years.
Lucas Cozzitorto (73-77--150) was fourth while in fifth it was Shane Muldowney (77-74--151).
In the Senior Division, Kenneth Gosselin (74-75--149) won the title over Tom Marks (80-71--151) by a pair of shots. The final round 71 by Marks was the lowest round by a senior in the tournament but he had to much ground to make up on the last day.
