PALM CITY, FL (December 6, 2017) - On day two of the SOS Ralph Bogart the highest ranked player in the field has moved into a tie for the lead. After beginning the round one shot off the pace Keith Decker, ranked fourth, in the AGC Senior Rankings moved into a three-way tie of the lead and he will begin the final round in prime position to win his fourth ranking event of the season.

Decker will begin the final round tied with first round co-leader Allen Peake and Rick Woulfe, all of whom are 1-over.

Playing at Harbour Ridge Yacht and Country Club Decker didn't play spectacular golf on Wednesday but his 1-over 73 hat included three birdies and four bogeys was enough to earn a piece of the 36-hole lead.

Decker is looking to add to a 2017 AGC Senior Ranking victory list that already includes the Senior Porter Cup, Dave King Senior Invitational and SOS Spring Classic.

Peake dropped back a bit in the second round with a day two 2-over 74 while Woulfe shot up the leaderboard with the round of the day, a 3-under 69.

Woulfe, the winner of the 2015 Dixie Senior Amateur, birdied three-times and bogeyed twice on the front nine to turn in 1-under 35 before catching fire on the second nine. Following a bogey on the 12th Woulfe birdied Nos. 13-16 in succession before coming back to earth a bit with a closing bogey.

Peake has put together a solid 2017 campaign in AGC Senior events earning points four times with his best finish a fifth place showing at the Geranium Senior Invitational.

Happy Rakestraw sits in fourth just one shot back at 2-over with Mark Knecht a bit further behind at 5-over in fifth.

First round co-leader David Steingart fell into a tie for eighth and will begin the final round 7-over.

SUPER SENIOR DIVISION

Gary Kirwan went low in the second round and with a 3-under 69 he moved to 2-under and the top of the Super Senior leaderboard. Kirwan poured in five birdies and just two bogeys during play on Wednesday. His best stretch of golf came from Nos. 6-13 during which he birdied four-times.

First round leader Joe Hackler is two back at level-par while in third it is Bob Allshouse at 1-over.

GRAND MASTER DIVISION

Gary Johnson put together the best round across any of three division in the second round and now at 2-under he paces the Grand Master Division by four-strokes.

In the second round Johnson carded five birdies and didn't record a bogey until the 16th hole as he signed for a 4-under 68.

Two players, Robert Currey and first round leader Skip Snow, are tied for second at 2-over.
