Nance-Noll Jr. win Georgia Four-Ball in a Shootout

ROME, GA (April 29, 2018) - Mike Nance of Calhoun and David Noll, Jr., of Dalton finished with a birdie on the final hole to win the Georgia Four-Ball Championship by one stroke at 22-under-par 194 (63-66-65). The 47th edition of this event took place at Coosa Country Club, April 27-29.
The Nance/Noll duo finished ahead of the lead team after two rounds, Stephen Behr of Atlanta and Erik Martin of Alpharetta who came in at 21-under-par 195 (64-64-67) for runner-up honors.
Two teams shared third place at 20-under-par 196, including Taylor Floyd of Augusta and Carter Newman of Evans (64-67-65), and Billy Mitchell of Roswell and Chris Waters of Marietta (65-65-66). Chad Branton of Cartersville and Christian Raynor of Kennesaw (66-63-69) along with Keith Guest of Athens and Timothy Schaetzel of Atlanta (65-66-67) tied for fifth at 18-under-par 198.Seventh place went to Tim Arnoult of Decatur and Michael Morris of Atlanta at (17-under-par 199 (62-67-70).
Rounding out the top 10 at 16-under-par 200 were a trio of teams - Adam Cooper of Columbus and Jared Garrity of Fortson (69-63-68) / Nick Cassini of Roswell and Ryan Grant of Atlanta (68-67-65) / Stan Gann, Jr., of Bonaire and Travis Steed of Macon (68-67-65).
After 36 holes of play, 40 teams made the cut at 5-under-par 139 or better.
