Hernandez, Baldwin Take Florida Mid-Am North Four-Ball

DADE CITY, FL (June 3, 2018) - Devin Hernandez and Spencer Baldwin, both of Saint Petersburg, joined forces to earn a wire-to-wire victory at the Florida Mid-Amateur Four-Ball (North) Championship, played at Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club (North Course).
The duo posted two consistent rounds of 63 for a 126 (-18) to win by one stroke over the team of Cameron Knight/Wesley Graham. Spencer and Devin had a total of 17 birdies and one eagle over the course of two days to be crowned Champions.
Despite carding two eagles in two days, the team of Graham, of Clearwater, and Knight, of Lutz, came up one stroke short of a win with rounds of 64-63—127 (-17).
Bob Campione, the 2017 Champion with partner Clayton Brewer, completed the top three with teammate Shaun O’Meara. The team finished three strokes behind with consistent rounds of 64-65—129 (-15).
34 teams finished under-par in great golf weather, with the Championship being completed ten minutes before the storms rolled through Dade City on Sunday.
