STOCKBRIDE, Ga. (July 18, 2018) –
Chris Hall used a final-round 66 at Eagle’s Landing Country Club to win the Geranium Senior Invitational. It was Hall’s lowest round of the week by six shots, and it allowed him to sneak into the top spot on the leaderboard by a single shot.
Hall, who was runner-up at this tournament a year ago, finished the week at 5-under 211 after opening rounds of 72-73. Steve Humphrey was close behind him at 4-under 212. Allen Peak and Marcus Beck tied for third at even-par 216. Rusty Strawn and John Foster finished at 5-over 221 to tie for seventh.
The Super Senior leaderboard also was topped by a player in the red. John Armstrong used a closing-69 to reach 3-under 213 for the tournament. It left him five shots ahead of runner-up Rob Hess.
In the Legends division, Don Kuehn put together rounds of 73-70-67 for a 6-under 210 total. Behind him, Don Marsh took second-place honors at 3-under 213.
