ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (October 7, 2018) - Kevin Hammer (Boynton Beach, Fla.) and Meghan Stasi (Oakland Park, Fla.) closed with a final-round best-ball 67 to finish off a two-shot win at the World Golf Village Slammer & Squire Course.
It was the second win for the pair, having won their first in 2014. For Hammer, it was the fourth time lifting the trophy, winning his first two in 2010 and 2012 with his daughter Alexa.
Hammer and Stasi took the first-round lead with a 30 in the scramble format followed by a 34 in alternate shot. Their best-ball 67 allowed them to finish two shots ahead of runners-up David Garratt and Miranda Greene of St. Augustine.

ABOUT THE
Florida Mixed Shootout
The Mixed Shoot-Out doesn't only "mix-up" the
teams with one man and one woman, but
it includes three different forms of play in its 36
holes of golf. Gift certificates will be
awarded to the best gross and net scores for each
format of play, as well as the overall
total for the championship.
Championship Format
• Maximum of 48 teams; 96 players
• Saturday: 9 holes of scramble format and 9
holes
of modified alternate shot (Chapman
format)
• Sunday: 18 holes of four-ball stroke play
• All teams will compete for gross and net prizes
in
each flight.
• The overall champion will be the team
(regardless
of flight) with the lowest gross total
for the competition.
Eligibility
• One entrant must be at least 16 years of age as
of
the first day of the
Championship
• A valid Florida GHIN Handicap Index
• At least one entrant is required to be a member
of
the FSGA
• Teams must consist of one male and one female
