Oklahoma State just continues to roll through the regular season. In a Prestige field loaded with West Coast talent, the Cowboys went 6 under for a slim lead on LSU.

Oklahoma State’s 278 total at the Greg Norman Course at PGA West in La Quinta, Calif., left the team one shot ahead of LSU. The two leading teams are the only ones in the field who finished the first day under par. UCLA, the next-closest team, was 2 over on Monday.

The final two rounds of the Prestige will be livestreamed on Golfweek.com. Expect Oklahoma State, with four players ranked inside the Golfweek/Sagarin top 50 – included Nos. 1 and 2 in Matthew Wolff and Viktor Hovland – to shine.

On Monday, Hovland was the low Cowboy with a 3-under 68 that included just one bogey. That left him tied for second with four players that include teammate Austin Eckroat.

As for Wolff, chasing his fifth consecutive stroke-play title of the season, a 2-under 69 left him in a tie for sixth. He is four shots off the pace set by individual leader Brandon Wu of Stanford. Wu had an exceptional back nine that included three birdies and an eagle from Nos. 13-17.

Behind UCLA in third, Pepperdine was solo fourth at 5 over, followed by Oregon in fifth. Interestingly, a three-way tie for sixth at 7 over included both the Stanford A and B teams.
