Darius Rucker: Migliaccio, Wake Forest hit all the right notes

Wake Forest swept the titles at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate in Hilton Head Island, S.C. The Demon Deacons won the event by 26 strokes against one of the strongest fields in women's college golf, while junior Emilia Migliaccio took the individual title.
The Deacons shot the low final round, an 4-under 280 after carding 287 and 288 in the first two rounds. All five players finished inside the top 25, with three inside the top five.
Migliaccio took the title by one shot over Natalie Srinivasan of Furman, sealing the deal with a bogey-free final nine holes for a 1-under 212 total. Wake Forest freshman Rachel Kuehn birdied three of her last five holes to finish third.
Auburn finished a distant second, led by Megan Schofill who tied for third at 1 over par. Duke, UCLA and Texas rounded out the top five.
The Long Cove Club played tough all week, with only Migliaccio finishing three rounds under par.
