After a solid start to the Concession Cup on day one for Team Europe, the home squad turned in a dominating performance on day two at Real Club Valderama in Spain to grow their lead from two points to a staggering five points.

Day 2 consisted of six foursomes matches. The alternate shot format proved beneficial for the Europeans, as they won four matches on the way to racking up a 4.5 of the six points available.

Caolan Rafferty and Gregoire Schoeb put in the most impressive performance, defeating the U.S team of Joe Deraney and Brad Nurski 6&5. Matthew Mattare and Evan Beck earned a half point for the U.S.A. However, they let a victory slip through their fingers. They had a 2-up lead on the 17th hole and lost the final two holes against Moises Cobo and Leon Breimer.

Team Europe will head into the third and final day with an 8.5-3.5 lead.
