SCGA Public Links: Dan Sullivan wins his third title

It took two extra holes, but Dan Sullivan of Pasadena, Calif., can lift the Southern California Golf Association Public Links title once again.
Sullivan finished 9-under par at Brookside Golf Course, shooting rounds of 59-70. The 59 was only 7-under par as Hole No. 8 was out of play due to course damage.
Sullivan defeated Alex Resurreccion of Los Angeles, Calif., on the second playoff hole to claim the title. Resurreccion finished runner-up.
Brandon McDonough of Santa Monica, Calif., finished in solo third place at 6-under, and Mason Chiu of San Marino, Calif., finished in solo fourth place at 5-under.

The SCGA Public Links Championship is formerly the
PLGA Amateur Championship, which started in 1968.
This Championship is open to amateurs who are
members of the SCGA who have a current Handicap
Index of 5.4 or below at the time of registration.
Players who are listed on a private or semi-private
club’s member roster are ineligible.
