World Amateur: Round four canceled due to weather

It has been a wet week for the 3,000 golfers that have ascended on Myrtle Beach for the Myrtle Beach World Amateur.
The weather has been so bad that round four of the World Amateur was canceled due to the impending rain from Hurricane Idalia.
The Flight winner's championship playoff is still expected to be played on Friday.
Christopher Schultz won the Gross Division (49 and under) with a net score of 209 and rounds of 69-66-74. He won the Division by nine shots over David Hunt.
The Division played Barefoot Resort Golf, Dye, Myrtlewood Golf Club, Palmetto, and Founders Club at Pawleys Island.
The Men's Senior Gross Division (50 and over) was won by Russell Burnam, who shot a net score of 222.
The Division played Founders Club at Pawleys Island, Glen Dornoch Golf Links, and TPC Myrtle Beach.
Mark Gardiner won the Men's Mid Senior Gross Division (60 and above) with a net score of 212. He shot net rounds of 71-67-74 to win the Division by seven shots.
The Division played Prestwick Country Club, Arcadian Shores, and Wachesaw Plantation East.
Heidi Rittenhouse won the Women's Gross Division with a net score of 222 to win by 14 shots.
The Division played Tiger's Eye Golf Club, Burning Ridge Golf Club, and True Blue Plantation.
The Flight winner's playoff will be played on Friday.
