Women's Carmel Cup: Stanford defends its title at Pebble Beach

Stanford took home the trophy once again at the Women's Carmel Cup at Pebble Beach, this time winning by eight shots over Arkansas.
The Cardinals, who also won the team title in 2022, recorded a team score of 22-under, while Arkansas finished 14-under. Texas A&M finished in solo third place at 10-under. These were the only three teams that finished under par.
Stanford was led by the individual champion,
Megha Ganne, who finished a dominant 15-under par. She shot rounds of 66-67-68.
Maria Jose Marin of Arkansas finished in solo second place at 11-under. Ganne led Marin by one shot after round one, and those two golfers led the field for the entire tournament.
Julia Lopez Ramirez of Mississippi State finished in solo third place at 7-under.
Lauren Zaretsky of Texas Tech and
Adela Cernousek of Texas A&M finished T4 at 6-under.
Paula Martin Sampedro finished T6, Kelly Xu finished in solo 12th place and
Sadie Englemann finished T19 to help propel Stanford the team title.

players each round) and individual competitions.
