Notre Dame shot a team score of 282 in the final round to jump over Michigan State and take home the win to open the season at the Folds of Honor Collegiate at American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven, Mich.

Leading the way for Notre Dame was Angelo Marcon, who shot a final round 2-under 69 and finished T2. Jacob Modleski shot a final round even par 71 to finish T16, Rocco Salvitti shot a final round 1-under 70 to finish T24, and Palmer Jackson and Nate Stevens both finished T30.

Notre Dame was the only team with all five golfers finishing in the top 30 individually.

Michigan State finished in second place, Arkansas finished in third place, South Carolina finished in fourth place, and Arizona finished in fifth place.

In the individual competition, Cecil Belisle finished in solo first place after shooting a 1-over 72 in the final round. Belisle finished 1-under for the tournament and was the only golfer to finish under par.
