Hunter Logan of Mississippi State University shot 11-under with rounds of 67-66-66 to win the Visit Knoxville Collegiate by a stroke over Nick Gabrelcik of North Florida and Michael La Sasso of Ole Miss at Tennessee National in Loudon, Tennessee.

Logan, ranked 69th on the Golfweek.com/Amateur Golf Rankings, opened the tournament with a 67 to finish T4, followed it with a 66 to take a one-shot lead after 36 holes, and added another 66 in the final round to win his third title of the season, following the Dogwood Invitational in June and the Southeastern Amateur in July.

Logan recorded 18 birdies, matching a career-high. His cumulative score of 199 not only secured his first collegiate victory but also put his name in the Mississippi State program history.

This score stands as one of the fifth-lowest 54-hole totals in the program's history, a testament to Logan's exceptional level of golf. As a result of the win, Logan earned an exemption to the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour event in Knoxville.

In the team's competition, Tennessee held off Ole Miss by one shot to win. Tennessee finished with a score of 25 under par, while Ole Miss was 24 under.

Mississippi State finished in solo third place at 13-under, their best season-opening placement since the 2017 Bearcat Invitational.

East Tennessee State was the only other team that finished under-par, finishing 11-under and in solo fourth place.
