Carolina's Senior Open: Four Amateurs finish in the Top Six
Eddie Hargett of Blythewood, S.C., finished as the low amateur at the 2023 Carolina's Senior Open, shooting a final score of even-par.
Chris Haarlow of Greensboro, N.C., won the championship, finishing 2-under and as the only golfer under par.
Hargett shot a 3-under 67 in the first round but struggled in the second round, shooting 3-over 73 to finish at even par.
Other amateurs who finished in the top ten were Kenny Flynn of Winston Salem, N.C., Doug Ramey of Greer, S.C., and Steve Peterson of Columbia, S.C.

Carolina and have a current USGA Handicap Index of
