In the Pacific Northwest Golf Association Women’s Mid-Amateur, Papatolis secured victory by one shot over Audrey Dalton of Milwaukie, Ore.

However, the path to get there was anything but easy.

Paptolis entered the final round one shot ahead of Dalton, but after carding a nightmarish 11 on Hole No. 1, Papatolis had to put that behind her to come from behind to win the championship.

Papatolis fought her way back, going even par over her final nine holes, highlighted by a 2-under finish in the final four holes, clinching a tightly contested victory over Dalton.

This marks Papatolis’s first PNGA title. She previously competed in the 2019 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur and won the 2019 Washington Women’s Mid-Amateur.
